History

Huizen is a former fishing village with a rich history in a beautiful, scenic region 't Gooi'. There are many possibilities for walks or cycle trips in the surroundig 'polders', heathlands and woods. Various signposted routes are available. Moreover you can go sailing on the big lake or go golfing. The city of Amsterdam is at 25 kilometers distance and is easily reached by bus or train.
